In the historically rich capital of Ecuador- Quito, we were able to support elders located in Atahualpa. Atahualpa is a Rural Parish of the Metropolitan District of Quito, Ecuador. It is an important agricultural, livestock and floricultural area, with significant remnants of native forests, relevant scenic landscapes and an appreciable cultural heritage.
Working in one of the most densely populated metropolitan areas of Ecuador, MiKiDo Foundation was easily able to identify a group of highly vulnerable people (older adults) to whom a basket of essential products are delivered several times a year. Through the support of several donors we are also able to provide nourishment to over 50 elders.
